“Building on the collaboration that has already taken place over the past several years by many colleagues, our digestive health services have grown more robust, accessible and standard across our system of care,” said Hartford HealthCare President and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Flaks.
“Together, this team will continue to advance the institute’s programs and services for a wide array of digestive disorders.”
With a sharp focus on excellence and innovation, the Institute also offers the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions available and adheres to highest national standards for quality and safety across the health system.
The Digestive Health Institute joins Hartford HealthCare’s existing world-class institutes: Behavioral Health, Cancer, Heart & Vascular, Neuroscience, Orthopedic, and Urology and Kidney. Since launching its institute model in 2014, Hartford HealthCare has successfully extended expertise deeply into our communities, creating consistently higher quality and enhanced access to sub-specialty care across the health system.
