Sandeep Sahay, MD, ATSF, to Receive the Outstanding Clinician Award

Newswise — NEW YORK, NY (May xx, 2025) — The American Thoracic Society is proud to announce that Sandeep Sahay, MD, ATSF, will receive a 2025 ATS Respiratory Health Award. Dr. Sahay will be presented with ATS’s Outstanding Clinician Award for his exemplary achievements in respiratory health based on his work at Houston Methodist Hospital.
All award recipients will be recognized for their contributions and achievements in pulmonary disease, critical care, and sleep medicine at the upcoming ATS 2025 International Conference to be held May 16-21 in San Francisco. The awards represent outstanding respiratory health contributions through various means, from research and diagnosis to education and advocacy.

The Outstanding Clinician Award recognizes and celebrates an individual who has made substantial contributions in the clinical care of patients with lung disease on a local or national level. This award honors clinicians who are recognized by patients and families as a caring and dedicated health care provider and by their peers as having made substantial contributions to the clinical care of patients with respiratory disease.
